We are a Christ-centered soup kitchen established in 1983 by First Presbyterian church in downtown San Diego. We are committed to feeding the body and the spirit by bringing the Word of God and providing meals to the homeless, poor, unemployed, and elderly.
Since we first began, more than 460,000 meals have been served. Each year we distribute over 9,000 articles of clothing, jackets, and blankets. We recently launched new ministries: the San Diego Street Choir, a medical program (Street Corner Care) and a mentoring program. We also offer ongoing pastoral counseling and the joy of reconnecting families.
